The 2.55 handbag was created by Gabrielle Chanel in 1955 with an unusual rectangular shape. The bag was inspired by equestrian sports with its quilted texture. The golden twist closure that you see in the front was appropriately named "Mademoiselle" because it exudes so much femininity and elegance.
