It all started during the winter of 1930-1931. While travelling in India, the Swiss businessman and watch collector César de Trey attended a polo match at a club of British army officers. One of these officers, who had just broken the glass of his watch, challenged de Trey to create a watch model robust enough to resist to a polo match.
This Sporty black Reverso Squadra hometime watch celebrates a return to the sporting origins of the reversible watch. In admirably understated style, it embodies the timeless values of this equestrian sport thanks to its inherently modern spirit.
Its black rubber bracelet differs from other Jaegers because it has the classic Jaeger look, but its strap gives it a bit of a fresh,sporty modern flair.
The watch's dial pops out and can be flipped to reveal the case-back .
This reverso watch features a subsidiary seconds, GMT and Day/Night indicato and has a water resistance to 50 meters / 165 feet.
